S E V E N T E E N

Hello everyone.

I can't help but wonder while lying in bed.
Do i look Form 5?
When i was in lower forms, i used to think that the Form 5s were so serious and so "Form 5-ish". Ya get what i mean? :D
They were so huge. SO tall. Sooo... powerful. Something like that.
Somehow, right now, i don't quite feel the way i thought Form 5s were.
I don't even feel Form 5. Or even old enough to be called S E V E N T E E N even after 7 months past my birthday. I don't feel it.

I wonder how do 50 year olds feel.
To be called F I F T Y yet still feel so young and not of that age. :(

People have told me that they think i've been rather 'over the top' for my previous post.

Everyone makes assumptions.

Sometimes it gets rather out of hand. Especially when people talk and spread rumours which they don't even know are true!

Every 'opposite sex' you go out with, alone or if he or she is from some other school, somehow EVERYONE assumes that there MUST BE something going on between those two.

Eventho they're just really good friends.

Why can't people just be 'good friends'?
Why do people not assume that?
I'm not saying i don't presume things like that when i see something suspicious too.
But still!!
Everyone needs a good friend whether it's a boy or girl.
You don't have to necessarily get an awesome friend from the same school.
Duh.

Oh so confused. Can't ever really understand humans. ♥
Maybe i'd look back one day and laugh at how all the silly people thought we were together.

Smokers

I am pleased to inform you that i have removed the music player from my blog.
It is pretty darn annoying after a while. My bad.

This Wednesday, i'm suppose to state my opinions on smoking.
I find this topic highly interesting. Something absolutely awesome to rant about.
My English teacher did mention tho, if i think smoking is good, i may state why i think so.

IMO, smoking is stupid.
Extremely stupid. I'll be frank alright? Since this is MY OPINION.
You can comment below if i have offended you in any way tho you shouldn't since it's my opinion and my freedom of speech. :)

I hate smokers. If the above doesn't already obviously state that.
I just don't get it why people would want to smoke.
I've written essays with the title "Why Do Youngsters Smoke?" or something close to that, zillions of times..
and i think all those reasons; because they're highly stressed, they think the best way out of misery is through smoking, bla bla bla is bullshit.

Why do i write that in my essays then? It's because that's what examiners wanna hear.
They sure don't wanna read this...

We are educated and taught about the effects of smoking. Yet, people my age still smokes. In fact, a lot of teenagers after leaving high school have taken up the habit of smoking. I think the lack of thinking skills and problem solving is the main cause. If they had enough thinking skills, they would have been able to think and rationalise the effects and benefits of smoking (if there are any). Being unable to solve problems, they resort to puffing smoke through their nostrils. Unfortunately, after puffing like a chimney, they still have no solution to their problems. But since they've started and the smoke has fogged up their brain, they gained a new ability which is the ability to squander money on suicide sticks.

I hate smokers!
But guess what? All these smokers i hate are eventually gonna die. Which is actually very very very true. If you know, someone who smokes, try asking them out of it and maybe he'd get a few years extra to live.
Smoking is a form of suicide. A slow death.
Why in the world would anyone want to do that, something i'd never understand.

Smoke smells bad.
If you smoke, you fucking stink. Everything absorbs the smell of smoke.
I hate going to smoky places because my hair would stink of smoke when i get back and i'd feel like murdering the asshole bunch of smokers.
Smoke smells like haze. Well, it is haze.

Dear smokers. It's your lucky time of the year! It's fucking hazy and you don't have to waste your money on suicide sticks! Quick! Breathe in as much as you can! :)

If smokers love smoke so much, why don't they stick their head down a chimney or something. Ergh.

Smokers are inconsiderate people. They're contributing to air pollution. Also, they're killing the people around them aka secondary smokers.

Put that cigarette down and think. Is what you're doing really necessary? Would it kill you if you stopped? Or rather, Would you die earlier if you continued?

Smokers are just like drug addicts.
Guy smokers think they're cool and macho and manly when they smoke. Damn idiotic. -.-

Girls who smoke are like prostitutes.
You smoke, you die.
A slow death. You suffer, all sorts of diseases, spend a lot of money trying to fix your black disgusting lungs and then you DIE. You practically spend your whole lifetime spending money on suicide sticks and then trying to cure the problem you've started.

I'd like to talk to a smoker and see what he has to say about smoking and how it's benefiting him.

Wiki doesn't state benefits of smoking. Awww. :(

I forgot to mention. I think smokers shouldn't be allowed to drive.
It's like letting drug addicts drive. I'm not descriminating drug addicts. Especially those who has healed from their treatments. Congratulations. The treatments were the right thing to do and you have courageously gone through it. :)

I think smokers endanger other road users. Because they tend to drive with one hand on the wheel and the other hand sticking outside the within holding a suicide stick. Seriously. If there's an emergency where the driver needs to react fast... he either has to

Quickly throw away the cigarette, hand gets stuck at the window, grab the wheel with both hands and too late to control the vehicle.
Slam the breaks really hard, vehicle loses control, hand outside the window gets sliced off.

Wouldn't the world be awesome without smoke or smokers?
Just imagine.

Useless

I came online feeling rather optimistic.
About god knows what. I have absolutely nothing to feel optimistic about.
Az_one just made me feel soooo useless. Not that i'm blaming you or anything. But telling me about other people "studying" ain't making me feel at my best.

I've been postponing my work. Something a straight A student wouldn't do.

Can someone set me back on track? :(

Today, i realised that there are loads of things i'd like to be.
So many different fields i'd like to persue.
I am a confused young lady. :)

I want to be an awesome deejay, a gorgeous air stewardess, an opinionated columnist and a nerdy biochemist.

Mass communication, Biochemistry or Literature.

I need to find that bit of inspiration and destroy that mass distraction.
I neeeed to keep my ipod aside and stay focus.
I need motivation. Not a useless lecture.
I need something that would scare me into doing what needs to be done.
I need to stop thinking and start acting.

i just happen to come across this article with the title...

What?? Bullshit.
According to BBC News...

That description ain't for me. I love pink. I loooooove pink. I'm not pressured into loving pink! :)

I know many of you might think i'd do that (refers to picture above) to my kid (when i have one). To be perfectly honest, if it's a girl... I want to say no. But i think the little girl above looks freakin adorable surrounded by all the pink!! :X so... er... MAYBE. I might change my mind when i'm older. :D
If it's a boy, that's up to the dad.

I just realized i'm starting to have a lot of purple things scattered around my room.
I swear i'd never betray you, my lovely Pink♥.
It's just stupid manufacturers tend to make things in all colours but Pink♥. So purple was the closest to Pink♥ i could get. :'(

Maths and Science BACK in Malay

Mathematics and Science reverted BACK to Malay Language.
Everyone's moving FORWARD. The whole point of changing it to the universal language is so that the students can cope better when they enter pre-u.
Now we're going BACKWARDS.
Before we know it, we'll be learning English in Malay too. *smirks*

Ask ANY student. They'd tell you that Engish is IMPORTANT.
Well, don't ask those who can't even pronounce the word English. Please.

Apparently, students will be learning Maths and Science in Malay till students have mastered the English.
Sure. :) With such LOW English standards in our country, we'd forever remain backwards. Even students are doubting the country's aspiration of achieving vision 2020.
At this rate, we're 10 steps back from that aspiration. Smart ass.

There's no way i'm bringing my kids up in this country if Maths and Science is still taught in Malay. I'd send my kids overseas to study ENGLISH.

Even the chinese businessmen says that Mandarin is not as important as English. Even in China, people speak English. Learning Maths and Science in English helps to raise our standard of English. We learn words like assimilation. Whoa. Big word. Definitely not found in our normal English lessons. What's it in Malay? 'asimilasi'. Sounds like the English word, eh? -.-

I was watching Paris Michael's speech to her beloved dad.
When it was over, my dad said "she's adopted right?"
I severely snubbed him.

"It doesn't matter whether she's ADOPTED or NOT right? Even if she is, she IS still his daughter and he loved her and vice versa. What kind of stupid question is that??"

The world is crying. A bit bizarre actually.
THE WORLD. EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY. Maybe except iran? :X Do they have teevees?
It's like a huge impact.
I am loss for words.

I am also annoyed by the fact that he's gone and people start appreciating him now.
I might be one of them. BUT i don't stand in front of music shops watching the videos for FREE and blocking up the whole lane so that people can't pass. That is bloody ridiculous.
If you're really appreciating him, buy the video. Keep it and watch it and pass it down to your younger generations.

Don't just stand there, watch and when the video replays, walk away.

The Framed Glasses Hypocrite

Previously, I thought i was going blind.
Seriously! I mean, my eyesight was getting blurry. Definitely a sign of eyesight deterioration.
Anyway, to improve my current eyesight or to help me see better, i've gotten GLASSES.
I chose a pair of framed black ones.
Yes i said black. Not pink. I know i know. :(
I couldn't find a pair of nice pink ones. *sigh*

Oh shit. My camera isn't functioning the way it's suppose too! My pictures look dark and horrible. Some of them even made my face look really pink because of my room lighting. :(
The colour thingy isn't working! I can't scroll to it and...
OHH. :D I fixed it. Ehehehe.

Anyway, I was in ou to collect my glasses and i went to the customer service counter to join this contest thingy where you spend RM100 in a single receipt, you get to win a car. Bla blaa. Well, you also get a tote bag for every RM180 spent i think.
So i went to the counter and there was a sign that said tote bag finished for today!!! :( erghh.
The contest form states that the receipt given must be on the very same day of purchase so i had no choise but to drop the form and the receipt into the box without getting my tote bag. :(

Plus the stupid woman at the konon "customer service" counter was so bitchy la. There was this frown on her face. (It could be the shape of her eyebrows that makes her look so angry. :X)
I asked her if there were any more tote bags despite the stupid sign.
She just gave me a look.
GOD. MAYBE THERE'S ONEEE LEFT RIGHT?? I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE! ERGHH. -.-

"Hello, One Utama. Among all your workers at the customer service counter, this is probably the one and only bitchy one. So what the heck is she doing at the counter?? I see the rest of them cheerfully assiting customers while this bitch was being damn pissy. -.- Like wth. I passed her my form to get it stapled and the whole time she looked sooo... dulan. Ergh."

Totally ruined my mood. Made me feel so pissy after that also. :(

Anyway, I'm hoping i'd win the GRAND PRIZE which is er... Sylphy.
It's a kinda car. I forgot the actual brand. :X
Doesn't matter. I was thinking, since i've got my license, it'd be pretty cool to win a car. :D
I don't wanna buy one because i'd rather spend the money on my education instead. So winning a FREE CAR would be awesome. :)

Black Star

I want a Black Star perfume!
Yes, eventho i have absolutely no idea how it smells like.
